As we reported yesterday, Alexander Nübel has officially left Bayern Munich.
The club confirmed on Wednesday that the 29-year-old would be going to Turkey with the fee reported to be around 10 million euro. He joined the Bavarian side back in 2020 from Schalke.
Max Eberl, FC Bayern board member for sport: “Alexander Nübel is a very good goalkeeper who has consistently developed and established himself at FC Bayern, Monaco and Stuttgart. He now wants to take the next step at Besiktas. We wish him all the best for his future.”
Nübel won the Bundesliga, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and domestic Supercup but only made four appearances, spending the rest of his time out on loan.
Best of luck Alexander!
