Niklas Süle Joins Amateur Side SV Tiefenbach

Niklas Süle, hot off his retirement, has signed for amateur club SV Tiefenbach in Germany's 11th-tier Kreisliga. 

"I'm really looking forward to finally experiencing football from a completely different perspective – where it's solely about the sport itself and not about business or money,” Süle said in a statement on the official Tiefenbach website.

Süle had announced he would retire from professional football at the end of last season due to injury concerns.
