Chelsea's reported mega-bid for Vinicius Jr. crumbles. The Brazilian's wage demands stall any London move, raising questions about his Real Madrid future.

The relationship between Vinicius Jr. and Real Madrid is far from its best moment. The Brazilian is not willing to renew his contract under the terms presented to him by the white club, and these are totally stalled.

Furthermore, from a sporting perspective, he is experiencing one of the worst moments of his career and has not scored a goal since October, something that has already earned him some boos at the Bernabeu.

Madrid knows that if 'Vini' decides not to renew, he could leave for free in 2027, which would mean missing an opportunity to bring in money, but he is one of Florentino Perez's major bets. Therefore, the whites know they must be willing to listen to offers for the Brazilian.

Last Tuesday, reports arrived from England suggesting that Chelsea was the first genuinely interested major party -- excluding Saudi Arabia -- in Vinicius Jr. The Blues would be willing to put 135 million pounds on the table, which is around $180 million. However, that information would not be true.

Chelsea Links Dismissed Amid Vinicius Jr.'s Real Madrid Contract Stalemate

As reported by El Chiringuito and confirmed by Sport, Chelsea is not a realistic option for Vinicius' departure. The English side would not be willing to cover the salary demanded by the Brazilian, and, therefore, his move to London is not being contemplated in the player's circle.

The Premier League could be an appealing market for Vinicius, but if Chelsea, one of the wealthiest clubs in England, is not willing to pay the salary he demands, his move to that league seems unlikely.

Another, more viable, though less attractive, sporting option would be the Saudi league. The Saudis have already shown interest in the Brazilian and have contacted his entourage on numerous occasions for the player to be the face of the league.

Vinicius's main idea has always been to remain at Real Madrid, but recent events have changed the rules of the game. His relationship with Xabi Alonso is not optimal, despite the club siding with him when he protested the rescheduling of the 'Clásico.'

Furthermore, the Brazilian has clearly taken a backseat following Mbappé's arrival. And after the numerous boos from his own fans at the Bernabeu, his relationship is at its worst point.

The visits of his representatives to Valdebebas have intensified in recent months, but an agreement for his renewal is far from being reached. From the side defending Vinicius's interests, a first approach from the club was considered negative and far from the demanded status. Meanwhile, the whites do not want to break the existing equilibrium in the squad's salary scale and, for now, are not yielding to the carioca's demands.
