Wolves vs. Chelsea, at Molineux Stadium, for matchweek 25 of the Premier League. The 'Wolves' have a certain risk of relegation and are at the bottom of the table, with only eight points: their only win in 24 matches was against West Ham, in a direct head-to-head. For now, reaching safety is 18 points away: Nottingham Forest and Leeds United have 26 points in the table.
For their part, the 'Blues' want direct access to the next edition of the Champions League and have not been achieving it by a minimal margin: they have 40 points, one less than Manchester United (4th). However, the outlook has improved greatly since the arrival of manager Liam Rosenior, who restored shine to the individual and collective strength of the institution. For now, they are on the rise.
Next, the starting eleven Liam Rosenior could field for his visit to Molineux Stadium.
GK: Robert Sanchez – The Spanish goalkeeper. His footwork will be vital to beat Wolverhampton's first line of pressure, a non-negotiable requirement in Rosenior's system. His reflexes will be tested.
CB: Wesley Fofana – Speed and anticipation. He will need to be very attentive to Castellanos's runs in behind. His physical recovery is fundamental to maintain the high line the team proposes.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah - Although he was very precise with the ball at his feet, he could do nothing to stop the opponent's attacks against Arsenal in the EFL Cup. He focused more on breaking up play than on initiating dangerous moves.
CB: Jorrel Hato – The Dutch jewel. Whether playing on the left or in the center of defense, he provides defensive balance and technique to combine with Cucurella, forming a fearsome left flank.
WB: Malo Gusto – Guaranteed depth. His ability to get to the byline is key to stretching the home side's defense.
CM: Moises Caicedo – The tireless Ecuadorian, an all-rounder in midfield with great recovery and distribution ability.
CM: Andrey Santos - A modern Brazilian midfielder, versatile with a very complete physical and tactical profile. He has shone under Rosenior's command at Racing Strasbourg.
CM: Enzo Fernandez - The Argentine world champion possesses vision, precise passing, and the ability to arrive in the opponent's box.
WB: Marc Cucurella - The high-energy Spaniard, known for his defensive intensity and offensive contributions.
ST: Joao Pedro - The Brazilian forward is agile with a great goal-scoring instinct, standing out for his ability to link up, make runs, and finish plays.
ST: Liam Delap - The power up front. The young English forward will have the mission to battle with the home team's center-backs and take advantage of any loose ball in the box.
This is how the Chelsea lineup would look (5-3-2):
