Predicted Chelsea XI: Key Trio To Lead Charge Against Leeds United cover image

Sanchez, Palmer, and Fernandez spearhead Chelsea's potent attack. Can this formidable lineup halt Leeds' desperate fight for survival?

Chelsea is on a good run after winning several consecutive matches and does not want it to be Leeds, which is fighting to stay in the top division of English football, to end its winning streak.

The possible Chelsea lineup vs. Leeds.

GK: Robert Sanchez – The Spanish goalkeeper. His footwork will be vital to overcome the first line of pressure from a desperate Leeds, a non-negotiable demand in Rosenior's system. His reflexes will be tested.

RB: Malo Gusto – Guaranteed depth. His ability to get to the byline is key to stretching the home side's defense.

CB: Wesley Fofana – Speed and anticipation. He will need to be very attentive to the runs behind from the Leeds forwards. His physical recovery is fundamental to maintaining the high line the team proposes.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah - Although he was very precise with the ball at his feet, he could do nothing to stop the opponent's attacks against Arsenal in the EFL Cup. He focused more on disrupting play than initiating dangerous moves.

LB: Marc Cucurella – The high-energy Spaniard, known for his defensive intensity and offensive contributions.

CM: Moises Caicedo – The tireless Ecuadorian, an all-terrain midfielder with great recovery and distribution ability.

CM: Andrey Santos - A modern Brazilian midfielder, versatile and with a very complete physical and tactical profile. He has shone under Rosenior's command at Racing Strasbourg.

RW: Pedro Neto - Electric dribbling. His one-on-one ability will be the main weapon to break down Leeds's defensive order on the right flank.

AM: Cole Palmer - He just recovered from an injury that kept him out for a few matches, but against Napoli, he provided two assists and is coming off a hat-trick against Wolves in the Premier League.

LW: Enzo Fernandez - The Argentine possesses vision, precise passing, and an ability to arrive in the opponent's box.

ST: Joao Pedro - The Brazilian forward is agile and has a great goal-scoring instinct, standing out for his ability to link up, make runs, and finish plays.

This is how the Chelsea lineup (4-2-3-1) would look.

  • Goalkeeper: Robert Sanchez
  • Defenders: Malo Gusto, Trevoh Chalobah, Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella
  • Midfielders: Andrey Santos, Moises Caicedo
  • Attacking midfielders: Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez
  • Forward: Joao Pedro
