Caicedo's training ground magic ignites social media, showcasing a spectacular strike as Chelsea gears up for Burnley. His long-range prowess continues to impress.

Moises Caicedo is undoubtedly one of the figures at Chelsea, and now the Ecuadorian midfielder has gone viral again. The Ecuador international scored a stunning goal in the Blues' latest training session ahead of their Premier League match.

In the finishing drill, Caicedo trapped the ball, creating a rebound, and before it dropped again, he unleashed a right-footed shot directly into the top corner. Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez was powerless to stop Moi's strike.

His teammates applauded him, and on social media, fans celebrated Caicedo's quality; the 24-year-old has already scored a couple of long-range goals this year from outside the opposition area.

Caicedo was again a starter for Chelsea, this time in the away match against Hull City. Chelsea currently sit fifth and recently replaced manager Enzo Maresca with Liam Rosenior.

Currently, Caicedo has a contract with Chelsea that makes him one of the highest-paid players. His base salary is £9 million per season, but could rise to £12 million depending on certain bonuses the midfielder can achieve.

Caicedo ended up signing one of the longest contracts at Chelsea. The Ecuadorian, a total midfield figure in London, is under contract until 2031. The Ecuador international signed in 2023, thus committing his future for eight years.

The Ecuadorian midfielder has played 33 matches for Chelsea in all competitions during the 2025-26 season. To date, the 24-year-old has accumulated five goals and one assist in a total of 2,722 minutes on the pitch.

In the Premier League, Caicedo has been a fundamental piece with 21 appearances, three goals, and one assist. His international performance also stands out in the UEFA Champions League, where he has eight matches and two goals. The rest of his activity is divided between three appearances in the EFL Cup and one in the FA Cup.
