The Chelsea Youngster has cited his lack of game time under Enzo Maresca as his reason to push for a January exit from the club.

Chelsea has managed to build quite the attacking line-up this season after bringing in players like Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Alejandro Garnacho, Estevao Willian, and Jair Gittens while splashing over £200 million during the summer transfer window.

Enzo Maresca will have plenty of options for a grueling season as the club is scheduled to take part in multiple tournaments, and also accounting for the national team call-ups, for which a solid squad depth is of utmost importance, and the Blues look settled in that section with plenty of options for the Blues manager to explore.

Tyrique George Looks For More Time On The Pitch

But at the same time, managing players' desired game time is always a tough task for any manager, as nobody likes to sit on the bench during important fixtures, especially youngsters who become restless and want to feature in almost every game.

Chelsea's academy graduate Tyrique George is one such player. According to reports from CaughtOffside (via London World), the youngster could push for an exit during the winter transfer window. This follows his substitution during the break in the Blues' 3-1 victory against Cardiff last night.

Maresca justified the substitution in the post-match conference, saying, "Ty (George) is not playing a lot," and he "needs minutes to be there.

Despite being considered a top talent, George has played only four Premier League matches this season, so he is now considering other options when the transfer window opens.

The 19-year-old winger is a rare Chelsea youth academy graduate to join the senior team directly, without a loan spell. His goal against Fulham in April made him Chelsea's youngest Premier League scorer since Callum Hudson-Odoi netted against Burnley in January 2020.

George was linked with a possible move to Fulham during the summer. However, club management convinced him to stay and fight for his place in the starting lineup. Unfortunately, this hasn't happened yet, and the player is now looking for a move away from Stamford Bridge, most likely on loan.

Interest in the youngster is high, as clubs like Leeds United, Everton, Fulham, Southampton, and Crystal Palace are closely monitoring his situation and view him as a player capable of developing into a Premier League Star in the future.
