France 3-1 Norway Half-Time Thoughts- Dembele Hat-Trick Sees France Race Into Lead
An action-packed first half has seen Frenchman Ousmane Dembele get a hat-trick within 31 minutes, giving France a 3-1 lead against a heavily rested Norway side, with no Erling Haaland or Martin Odergaard
It was going to be an interesting encounter between these two on-form teams, but when the lineups came out, the result felt fairly guaranteed with Norway making ten changes from their 3-2 win over Senegal, whilst France made four changes with Theo Hernández, Lacroix, Tchouameni, and Doue coming in for Saliba, Rabiot, Digne, and Barcola.
France has looked incredible yet again with Les Blues not being afraid to use all of that attacking flair and have put this rotated Norway side on the back foot.
Ousmane Dembele has truly looked like a Ballon d'Or winner tonight, with every time he got the ball, he got his head forward and tried to make something happen, and with him scoring with both feet, going either side, it has made Fredrik Bjorcan's life very tough.
Norway still had chances though, Jorgen Straand Larsen should've scored when it was only 1-0, and Thelo Aasgaard took his goal fantastically, sending Dayot Upamencano.
Frustratingly, France has ended this half with a lot of slackness, acting like their group stage is already done. But they have a chance to make a real statement. They are still having a lot of chances with Selvik having to do some fine keeping to keep it at three.
