Hull City has just received very good news ahead of its return to Premier League action following a historic summer transfer window.

According to manager Sergej Jakirovic, both Joe Gelhardt and Matt Crooks returned to training this week and could be involved in Hull’s next match against Aston Villa, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, on Matchday 3 of the Premier League.

"Since Monday, (Gelhardt) has been in full training with the group, so we will see him and our tactical plan. He is available," Jakirovic said via Hull Live. "Matt Crooks is in training, so we will see tomorrow."

Still, the manager refused to fully discuss the team’s injuries, but at least he provided that good news.
