Former Ajax Target Stije Resink Set To Join AZ Alkmaar

Stije Resink was of interest to Ajax in January, but the midfielder is now close to a move to AZ Alkmaar for a fee of around €4 million.

Resink suffered a serious injury in March and will be out for a while, but that hasn’t stopped AZ from pursuing a move.

Resink would’ve been the ideal signing for Ajax in midfield, but it’s understandable that Jordi Cruijff has decided not to pursue a transfer, given he’s still a few months away from being fit again.
