A former scout definitively shuts down Manchester United rumors, revealing the club's firm stance on any potential Cristiano Ronaldo return.

Uncertainty over Cristiano Ronaldo's continuity at Al-Nassr has unleashed a wave of rumors in the European market. Although the forward maintains a valid contract in Saudi Arabia, recent conflicts and speculation about his future have reignited the possibility of a return to Europe, especially to clubs where he left his mark.

One of the teams mentioned was Manchester United, where Ronaldo experienced two very different spells: a glorious one between 2003 and 2009, and another more controversial one during his recent return. However, according to statements from former chief scout Mick Brown, the English institution is not considering signing him. "No chance. It's not going to happen ... they're not even going to consider it," he stated bluntly.

The end of Ronaldo's second spell at Old Trafford was marked by internal tensions and public criticism toward the club and the coaching staff, a situation that apparently damaged the institutional relationship. Therefore, a third cycle looks practically ruled out, both by the board's decision and by the player's own entourage.

Meanwhile, the former Real Madrid player maintains clear goals for 2026. The first is to win his first title with Al-Nassr and consolidate his legacy in Saudi football. The second is to reach the historic figure of 1,000 goals as a professional, a goal that keeps him in full competition despite his veteran status.

Currently, Ronaldo has 962 official goals after his recent goal against Al-Fateh, so he needs 38 more to reach the dream milestone. His ambition also aims to close his career with a golden finish at the 2026 World Cup with the Portugal national team, a title that would be the perfect complement to a historic career.

Thus, while rumors about his return to Europe continue to circulate, Manchester United's stance appears firm: there will be no third spell in England. Cristiano Ronaldo's immediate future will continue to be written far from Old Trafford, with Saudi Arabia and the 1,000-goal target as the main stages for his ambition.
