In a recent report, the Real Madrid legend is all set to join Manchester United during the winter transfer window.

Even after a summer spending of over £200 million, Manchester United would definitely not sit out of the upcoming winter transfer window. They would need more reinforcements in order to contain the current inconsistent run of games.

The Reds are currently placed 6th in the Premier league table and will push for a top four finish and earn a Champions league spot next season.

Ruben Amorin will need to find a fix for quite a few problems at the club, defence being one of them. Currently, Manchester United has managed to keep only one clean sheet during the course of this season's Premier league. This is an alarming situation for the Reds' boss.

Despite having the likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro, United have found it hard to shut out their opponents, and has only kept a clean sheet during their 2-0 victory against Sunderland during the first week of October.

Injuries and lack of form has been a major reason behind this shaky United defence, but the club management is actively looking as the transfer window is rapidly approaching.

According to a recent report by Spanish outlet, Fichajes, Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos is all set to join Manchester United during the winter transfer window.

Could Manchester be The Next Destination For Real Madrid Legend?

Ramos's contract with Monterrey has recently ended after their exit from the Mexican Apertura semi-finals. The 39-year-old has already said his goodbyes to the Mexican club and is looking for a new club to call home

As it seems, the former Real Madrid defender is looking spend the twilight of his playing career in a major European club, and Manchester United has surprisingly emerged as his most likely destination.

The Reds has been an admirer of the Spaniard for ages now as they made some significant offers for the player during his time at the Spanish capital.

The deal is thought to be a win-win situation for both Ramos and United as the club will have the services of an experienced player who has won it all.  If  transferred, Ramos will be instrumental for Amorin to fix his defensive issues for the season. He would have a influential leader like Sergio Ramos to guide young talents.

As for the star veteran player, he probably won't be starting a lot of games but would definitely add to Ramos' already brilliant career, if he decides to join United before he decides to hang his boots.
