Sesko's last-gasp equalizer snatched a point, but Lammens impressed amid a dramatic stoppage-time escape against West Ham's scare.
The fifth consecutive victory did not arrive for Manchester United, as West Ham came very close to beating them at the London Stadium in what has been the biggest scare of Michael Carrick's short tenure.
The good news for them is that the unbeaten run remains alive, as in the final minutes, Benjamin Sesko managed to snatch a point from the Hammers' home.
The first half did not have much action, as the 0-0 persisted on the pitch, increasing the tension for the Red Devils' fans, who were nervous about losing their good run in the Premier League.
One of the most important plays of the first half was for Bruno Fernandes, who received a long ball and finished against the onrushing goalkeeper, sending the ball over the Hammers' goal, though it had already been ruled out by the second assistant who had flagged for offside.
The match was so flat throughout the first half that the referee decided not to add a single minute of stoppage time, sending the teams to the break to rethink the strategies they had planned to get the result.
The second half was a complete change, although similarly, there were no great chances, both teams managed to get a goal that left them with a somewhat different feeling.
The first of them arrived as early as the 50th minute, meaning only five minutes after the second half began, when a cross from the right flank was deflected by Tomas Soucek past Senne Lammens, unleashing total jubilation from the Hammers fans, who even mocked their rivals for not continuing their good run.
A goal from Casemiro silenced the stadium; however, VAR decided it was a marginal offside, and the match continued in favor of the hosts. It was not until stoppage time, in the 90+6th minute, when a cross from Bryan Mbeumo found the exact location of Benjamin Sesko and, with a right-footed shot, the Slovenian equalized the match in its dying moments.
