Manchester United have had a wonderful start under their new coach, Michael Carrick. Until now, he has won all the matches as the coach of Manchester United. Carrick has a contract with the club until the end of the season, and then the club should decide whether to continue with him or start a new project with a new manager.
However, despite this matter, the club is continuing its plan for the upcoming summer transfer market. The Red Devils will be focused on investing heavily in the midfield, where they plan to buy 1-2 new midfielders to strengthen the team further.
A lot of names have been mentioned about the potential signings of the club from the Premier League, but also abroad. A new name that the Red Devils are looking at with great interest in recent times is the young German midfielder Rocco Reitz.
Rocco is a 23-year-old midfielder who plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach. His contract with the German club expires in 2028. Reitz has become a key element of the German team and has shown his qualities this season in the Bundesliga.
Due to his performances, Rocco has attracted interest from different teams like Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig. United have put the German midfielder in their shortlist with other midfielders.
Borussia expect an offer of around 35-40 million pounds to sell their star this summer. Manchester United have made a formal offer for the young, talented midfielder and are willing to continue the negotiations with the German club to secure Reitz, who has been called by many analysts as the new Ballack due to his qualities and skillset with the ball and without the ball, and hugely important in the last third with his goals and assists.
