Griezmann's MLS links ignite a potential PSG transfer domino effect. Atletico eyes Lee Kang-in as the star replacement, sparking a ripple through Europe's elite clubs.

Antoine Griezmann has been linked in recent days to MLS side Orlando City, and Atletico Madrid has reportedly defined a PSG player as the Frenchman's replacement, according to reports.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Spanish capital club has chosen Lee Kang-in as Griezmann's heir, 34.

Lee, 25, has a current contract with Paris Saint-Germain that extends until June 30, 2028. However, the Korean does not enjoy an undisputed starting role under Luis Enrique – and that's where Atletico Madrid wants to take advantage.

The cited outlet notes that Lee's profile fits perfectly with what Diego Simeone needs: a player with "technical ability, game vision and offensive versatility."

"PSG already knows that Atletico Madrid could present an offer if Antoine Griezmann's departure is finally confirmed. For now, negotiations have not advanced toward concrete figures," Fichajes' Hector Andreu wrote.

According to Transfermarkt, Lee's market value stands at 25 million euros. Either way, on more than one occasion, the French press has denied that Luis Campos or Enrique himself considers parting with the Korean player.

This season, Lee has played 33 matches with PSG across Ligue 1, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. He has recorded four goals and three assists.

The previous season, PSG's number 19 scored six goals and provided six assists, and in his first campaign, he scored five goals and provided five assists.
