Paris Saint-Germain already knows its opponent for the Champions League round of 16. It is Chelsea. Its coach, Liam Rosenior, is eager to face PSG.
Qualified for the Champions League round of 16, PSG knows its opponent at this stage: Chelsea. The Parisians will host the Londoners before traveling to England for the return leg.
With the double confrontation against Chelsea, PSG will meet Liam Rosenior again, who coached Strasbourg during the first part of the 2025-26 season. Present at a press conference two days before the Premier League clash against Arsenal, the English coach said he is totally excited about the idea of facing PSG.
"So excited. PSG is a fantastic team. Of course, I have experience facing them in France. It's a team I've always admired. I think Luis Enrique is doing an incredible job. We live for these kinds of matches. This kind of match attracts us to football. It will be a great double confrontation between two very good teams, and I'm really looking forward to it. But before that, we still have three matches, which I have to focus on."
As a reminder, in three confrontations against PSG with Strasbourg, Liam Rosenior won once, lost once, and drew once. It was his last against PSG, in a spectacular 3-3 on Oct. 17 in Ligue 1.
