Despite a dominant performance and 25 shots, PSG faltered. Coach Luis Enrique highlights missed chances, believing his team deserved victory in their French Cup exit.

Following the elimination against Paris FC after a match they largely dominated in terms of play, Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique praised the performance, particularly the chances created, to the point of believing his team should have won.

Twenty-five shots tonight for Paris Saint-Germain, no goal obviously, an elimination. What words will you find for your players? What will you say after this match?

"I never speak with the players after the match, it's totally forbidden! Whether we win or lose, it is not the time to talk and analyze a match. But in that sense, I think it's very easy to analyze and play this match. We created a lot of chances, we deserved to win this match, and we played well. But to win in football, you have to score goals. That wasn't the case for us, and we have to accept this defeat."

Paris Saint-Germain never let up until the end; in any case, we saw that. You gave everything, and there was a great goalkeeper on the other side, too. Isn't there also the fixture congestion of all these matches? Every three days, at some point, mentally, that can also become difficult.

"No, not at all. Because, I repeat, we took 25 shots. We created a lot of chances. We dominated the match from start to finish. We did everything to win this match. I am very happy with what I saw, with the intensity, with how the team played. However, you must know that it is a sport where scoring goals is crucial, and today was not the day. You have to accept that. I wish Paris FC the best. They are our enemy, but we deserved to win this match, clearly."
