Barcola netted the winner but craved more goals, revealing tactical adjustments and his hunger for further success after PSG secured a vital win.

In a 24th-round Ligue 1 match Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Le Havre 1-0 at Stade Oceane. Bradley Barcola scored the game's only goal.

Following Lens' 1-1 draw at Strasbourg on Friday, PSG had the opportunity to open a four-point lead over Lens with a victory at Le Havre.

PSG broke through in the 37th minute with a well-worked team goal. Hakimi played Lee on the right, and Lee delivered a perfect cross for Barcola, who directed a precise header into the net.

The Parisians accomplished that goal thanks to Barcola's strike, although they missed numerous clear chances that could have produced a more comfortable win. The result extends PSG's lead at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

Man of the Match Bradley Barcola Laments Missed Chances in PSG Victory

Barcola, named man of the match, discussed the victory afterward.

"We should have put the game away earlier," the PSG forward told Ligue 1's broadcast. "After that, we played a good match. It's a shame we didn't score more goals. But overall, it's good."

Asked about playing as a center forward, Barcola said, "The coach asks me to run in behind defenders, to try to drop deep even if that's not my natural game, and to be efficient. I'm happy today. I scored, I could have had a second, but I'm happy."

Regarding his positional flexibility, he added, "Yes, I can play across the entire front line, and that's a good thing for the team."
