Monaco conquers Paris. See how each PSG star faltered in a crucial Ligue 1 defeat, exposing deep-seated flaws.

As part of the 25th round of the 2025/26 Ligue 1, PSG hosted AS Monaco this Friday night at the Parc des Princes, and the Parisians ultimately lost the match.

Led after a Zaïre-Emery error exploited by Akliouche, underwater after a Golovin goal immediately upon his entrance, Paris thought they came back on a Barcola goal (71st) but took the third by Balogun right after (73rd).

A few days before hosting Chelsea, PSG signed another rather poor match against a Monaco team as well prepared as during the return playoff.

PSG 1-3 Monaco: Paris Saint-Germain Player Ratings

Matvey Safonov (5): Two unstoppable goals, two good saves, but a somewhat questionable goal for the 1-3.

Achraf Hakimi (4): A nice action on the Barcola goal, but struggled to make an impact for the rest.

Ilya Zabarnyi (5): Not so challenged overall and not really in difficulty either.

Willian Pacho (4): A big duel with Balogun, far from having been won overall.

Nuno Mendes (5): A stratospheric first half, a less successful second despite some shots.

Vitinha (4): Useful for restarting and defending before the break, less successful afterwards.

Warren Zaïre-Emery (3): Several ball losses that hurt his team a lot, and a few good things with the ball.

Dro Fernandez (4): Good when he can have space and time, but the slightest duel is an ordeal for him.

Desire Doue (3): Bad. Many ball touches, very little positive.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (3): Not great on the left, barely better on the right.

Bradley Barcola (5): A goal of hope, some runs that hurt but always waste in the box.
