Ousmane Dembélé is ready to play. PSG announced its squad for the crucial clash with Chelsea.
PSG has unveiled a 22-player squad for their trip to London and their Champions League round of 16 second leg against Chelsea this Tuesday evening. A squad with no bad surprises and with Ousmane Dembélé included.
As in the first leg, PSG will challenge Chelsea with a 22-player squad this Tuesday evening in the Champions League round of 16 second leg. As expected, Fabian Ruiz is still too short for this short trip to London, having not played since his blow to the left knee against Sporting CP on Jan. 20.
Operated on last month for his hamstring, Quentin Ndjantou also logically misses the call, but the other 22 players called up last Wednesday during the 5-2 victory against the Blues are also there for this return match at Stamford Bridge. There was a slight doubt regarding Ousmane Dembélé, who was substituted in the 69th minute in the first leg.
Luis Enrique was immediately reassured after the match, saying it was a planned change before the game, but images broadcast last weekend by Canal+ showed the Ballon d'Or winner touching his right knee during the match. Dembélé was, however, present at training on Saturday and Sunday and will be able to play against Chelsea this Tuesday, normally from kickoff.
