Following their crushing 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final, Paris Saint-Germain has become the French club with the most domestic and European titles.
Specifically, Paris Saint-Germain is the team with the most Ligue 1 titles (13), the most Coupe de France titles (16), the most Coupe de la Ligue titles (9), the most Trophée des Champions titles (13), and now, the most European titles (2).
The Parisian club’s continental trophies correspond to the recently won UEFA Champions League (2024-25) and the 1995/96 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, which they secured with a 1-0 victory over Rapid Wien.
This historic European victory against Inter was achieved thanks to goals from Achraf Hakimi (12’), Désiré Doué (20’, 63’), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (73’), and Senny Mayulu (86’). Doué stole the spotlight, as he also contributed an assist.
The other French team with European titles is PSG’s biggest rival, Olympique de Marseille, who won the UEFA Champions League in the 1992-93 season.
Soon, the Parisian side will look to further expand their international trophy haul, as they are set to compete in the first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup between June and July. Later, on August 13, they will face Tottenham Hotspur—champions of the latest UEFA Europa League edition—in the UEFA Super Cup.
