PSG prioritizes securing its future, focusing on locking down key talents with long-term contract extensions amidst a quiet transfer window.

Failing to recruit players during this winter transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain is active in extending its key players, especially those soon out of contract.

The winter transfer window has been open since Jan. 1, and as expected, PSG is not very active. No new signings are on the way to Paris, and only a few young players are set to depart (Kamara, Eddy Doué, and possibly Housni), which does not prevent Luis Campos from working to consolidate the squad of the reigning European champion.

In recent days, discussions concerning Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola, whose contracts expire in 2028, have made headlines.

On Tuesday, Italian journalist Matteo Moretto announced that Fabian Ruiz was very close to extending his contract until June 2029, or two years more than his current deal, which expires in 2027.

2027 was also the expiry date for the contract of Ibrahim Mbaye, currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal. But according to several sources, PSG has activated its option to extend its young winger by one year, until 2028.

In addition to Fabian Ruiz, Paris Saint-Germain has another important matter to handle in the short term, that of its young and versatile Senny Mayulu, whose contract also expires in June 2027, or in 18 months.

As early as October, L'Equipe revealed that negotiations had begun between Paris Saint-Germain and the entourage of the 19-year-old player regarding a new contract.

Struggling for form at the moment, Mayulu remains a player heavily used by Luis Enrique (10th in playing time this season) and in whom PSG believes strongly.

According to the latest information from RMC Sport, negotiations are ongoing between the parties for an extension, which PSG wants to be long-term.

RMC Sport also confirms that Fabian Ruiz is close to extending his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2029, obviously with a salary increase, although the scale of this increase is not specified.

According to several corroborating sources, Paris Saint-Germain has also recently finalized the extension of Willian Pacho until 2030 with a significant salary adjustment, as the Ecuadorian central defender had, until now, one of the lowest salaries among the regular starting eleven.

An extension that Paris Saint-Germain has not yet officially announced, likely waiting to finalize others for a grouped announcement, as in February 2025 with Luis Enrique, Vitinha, Achraf Hakimi, and Nuno Mendes.

A summary of contract expirations at Paris Saint-Germain:

2026: Jangeal

* According to several corroborating sources, Pacho has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain until 2030, while the club would have activated the option in Mbaye's contract, who would now be linked to Paris Saint-Germain until 2028. But the club has not yet officially announced these two extensions.
