Paris Saint-Germain and Luis Enrique are reportedly nearing a significant contract extension, potentially keeping the manager at the club until 2030.

Under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2027, Luis Enrique is discussing an extension with the club. For how long? The information has just leaked in Spain and will surprise no one.

For several days now, multiple reports have indicated advanced discussions between PSG and Luis Enrique for the signing of a new contract. Having arrived in the summer of 2023, "Lucho" won everything in France during his first season and reached the Champions League semifinals, before winning nearly everything in his second season, with the exception of the Club World Cup.

The Spaniard's record is therefore extraordinary, and the recent elimination in the Coupe de France against Paris FC will not call into question the Asturian's overall record. He has greatly contributed to the philosophical revolution undertaken within the club over the last two years, with a new sporting project focused on the collective, youth, and maximum daily demands.

This week, Le Parisien confirmed information revealed a few days ago by Duncan Castles, namely that PSG and Luis Enrique are indeed discussing a new contract. The two parties had already extended their contract together in February 2025 until June 2027 and are now therefore discussing a third joint contract.

The duration envisioned by the parties for this new contract had not yet been leaked. However, on Wednesday, we mentioned the possibility that this future deal could run until 2030, like the one signed last year by Luis Campos, with whom Luis Enrique maintains an excellent relationship.

This Friday, the Catalan outlet Sport, necessarily well-informed about the former Barcelona coach, reveals that PSG and Luis Enrique are discussing a new contract until 2030, representing a three-year extension from his current deal. "The agreement will include release clauses in case the Spaniard decides to leave before the set date, without financial penalty for the coach," specifies the Catalan daily.

Sport confirms that this 2030 date was not chosen at random and asserts that Luis Campos wishes to tie his future to that of Luis Enrique and thus align his coach's future contract with his own. The Barcelona daily also believes that this extension for Luis Enrique could positively influence the Ousmane Dembele case, who is also discussing an extension with PSG while being courted by Saudi Arabia.
