PSG eyes Luka Vuskovic, outbidding rivals with a power play for the teenage defensive sensation. His aerial prowess and goal-scoring threat are key targets.

PSG has identified in young Croatian center-back Luka Vuskovic the ideal candidate to bring vigor and projection to its backline next summer, according to reports.

At just 18 years old, the defender, who plays for Tottenham but is on loan to Hamburg, stands out for his imposing physique, which suits French football. The sporting directorate at the Parc des Princes "values his anticipation ability and his command of aerial play as determining factors for his system," according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

Although the footballer arrived in London recently from Hajduk Split, his immediate performance has whetted the appetite of major European clubs. The evaluations sent by Parisian scouts emphasize that the Balkan player demonstrates maturity well beyond his young age in high-demand situations.

According to the cited outlet, PSG knows that competition for the Croatian defender is fierce, with Real Madrid and Barcelona closely following each of his performances.

While the Spanish clubs value his philosophical and technical fit, the French capital club is betting on his power and physicality. "Manchester City and Liverpool have also made moves by sending emissaries to Germany to analyze how the boy adapts to different tactical contexts," Fichajes notes.

However, the Parisian club trusts that its economic capacity and the appeal of its young project can tip the balance in its favor.

Vuskovic has scored four goals in 19 matches this season, proving a constant threat on set pieces. This goal-scoring facet, added to his defensive solidity, makes him a coveted piece for Luis Enrique in his search for balance.

The same report indicates that PSG would face an "institutional wall" in London, as the Spurs consider the Balkan player a non-negotiable pillar for their long-term planning.

The English board would have no intentions of parting with a player who signed an extensive contract until the summer of 2030. "It is estimated that any attempt at formal negotiation should start from a minimum base between 60 and 70 million euros."

Vuskovic has a market value of 40 million euros, a figure that continues to rise after each round in Germany.

Tottenham would only consider a sale if a stratospheric offer arrives that far exceeds the initial expectations set by the British entity. The pressure from the French team will be constant, given that this type of generational talent is very rare in the global market.
