PSG's Vitinha dismisses Real Madrid links, calling any move "stupid" while prioritizing career and happiness over massive Saudi Arabian sums.

In an interview granted to the Portuguese channel Canal 11, Vitinha spoke frankly about Real Madrid's interest in him and categorically ruled out any departure from PSG. The Portuguese midfielder also explained why he was not interested in a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia.

This is what is called putting the dots on the i's. While the Spanish press has been leading a media campaign for several months aimed at fueling the rumor of a future transfer of Vitinha to Real Madrid, who are cruelly lacking a player of his profile, the Portuguese conductor of PSG has categorically excluded any departure from Paris, where he extended his contract last year until 2029.

In a long interview granted to the program "Soltinhos pelo Mundo" on Canal 11, Vitinha discussed his future and clearly ruled out a possible departure for Real Madrid: "I think it's not the best thing for me at the moment. I feel very good here, at PSG. I feel that people here really like me and that I have earned their affection. I love being here, my family too. We have a fantastic group and an incredible coach. It would be stupid to leave," he declared.

A clear and sharp clarification that should put an end to the speculation of the Spanish press, which was still assuring last week (Cadena SER) that Vitinha had some kind of private clause with PSG allowing him to leave in case of an offer of at least 100 million euros, which was never confirmed in France. The Spanish press even assured last week that the Portuguese was beginning to open up to the idea of a departure next summer to Real Madrid, which he has just clearly denied.

Also questioned about a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia, Vitinha was also very frank: "You have to be naive not to see it. They are really significant sums that can guarantee you a comfortable life. But I don't think I'm very interested in the things money can buy. I'm more interested in having a career in a certain way. I already earn a very good living here in Europe, in a big club. Doubling or tripling that amount wouldn't make me happier," he explained.
