A key player for Paris Saint-Germain, Vitinha is delivering very strong performances for the Rouge et Bleu. Real Madrid could attempt to sign the Portuguese international next summer.
Since the arrival of Luis Enrique on the PSG bench, Vitinha has been transformed. Deployed as a defensive midfielder, the Portuguese international is the metronome of the capital club's play and is among the best midfielders in the world, if not the best.
He finished in third place for the Ballon d'Or, which was won by his PSG teammate, Ousmane Dembele. Still under contract until June 2029 with the European champions, Vitinha is reportedly attracting interest from Real Madrid.
According to information from Cadena SER, the Spanish club could attempt to sign PSG's No. 17 in the next summer transfer window.
The Iberian radio station indicates, however, that this possibility would be conditional on a departure of Vinicius, who has not yet accepted Real Madrid's contract extension offer.
Cadena SER explains that if Vinicius were to leave Real Madrid, the savings on his salary and the proceeds from the sale of the Brazilian international could then allow Real Madrid to take action on the Vitinha case.
This information should be put into perspective, however. Vinicius's departure is far from being finalized, in addition to the fact that PSG absolutely does not intend to part with its midfielder, who is a pillar of Luis Enrique's starting 11.
For his part, the player feels very good in Paris and at the club and has no intention of leaving PSG anytime soon.
