Rennes outplayed PSG, silencing their star attackers. See how each Paris Saint-Germain player performed in this disappointing 3-1 defeat.

As part of the 22nd round of Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain traveled to Rennes to face Stade Rennais, and the Parisians were beaten by a Brittany side that was far more determined and focused. The Parisians misfired, both in intent and in front of goal, and were deservedly beaten. Dembele did score the goal that made it 2-1, but it was not enough for a comeback.

Rennes 3-1 PSG: Paris Saint-Germain Player Ratings

Matvey Safonov (4): No errors to speak of, but zero saves of note either.

Achraf Hakimi (3): A deflected cross that turned into an assist, but not much else in his performance.

Ilya Zabarnyi (3): A very solid first half, but a terrible collapse in the second.

Willian Pacho (3): Caught out on the first goal, and too often struggling overall.

Nuno Mendes (4): A strong start to the match, but far less dominant afterward.

Vitinha (4): A few interesting long passes, but struggled to organize his team.

Warren Zaire-Emery (5): Presence and impact in duels, less effective near the goal.

Joao Neves (3): Probably the Portuguese player's worst match at PSG, off from start to finish.

Desire Doue (3): Back at his former home, he got almost everything wrong except for one good cross to Dembele — especially in front of goal.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (4): A few nice actions thanks to his technique, but he struggled to finish.

Ousmane Dembele (4): A goal that sparked hope, some well-taken passes, but also plenty of mistakes.
