A day on from that 3-0 defeat, what do we actually think went wrong?
Arsenal just never really looked comfortable. Brighton came with a clear plan, pressed aggressively and made it difficult for Arsenal to play through them, and the Gunners struggled to find any real rhythm on the ball.
Thought it was interesting for Myles Lewis-Skelly not to feature, although understand he played the full 90 against Ipswich. He’s arguably one of Arsenal’s most press-resistant midfield options, and yesterday felt like exactly the sort of game where that could have helped.
Nobody looked great... Which is kind of a positive in a way, could argue a bad day at the office.
