If Odegaard Isn’t Available, Who Is Arsenal’s Next Best No.10?

Martin Odegaard picked up an ankle knock with Norway, although Arsenal still have more than a week before Leeds, so there’s every chance he’ll be fit by then.

But it does raise an interesting squad question: if Odegaard did miss a game, who is Arsenal’s next-best option at No.10?

Eberechi Eze feels like a more natural choice, perhaps over Merino, although there’s another wrinkle there because he may also be needed on the left to cover or rotate with Christos Tzolis.

Not sure if Arteta would be bold and go with it, but I think Dowman needs a Premier League start, whether through the middle or on the right with Saka moving into the middle. He was incredible against Ipswich and although shouldn't be overused at a young age, feel he can definitely provide something different for the Gunners
