STRUIJK RED RESCINDED!

Pascal Struijk’s red card against Sunderland has been overturned, following a successful appeal to an Independent Regulator.

His one game ban has been overturned, meaning he is now available for Sunday’s hosting of Crystal Palace.

It’s a welcome decision to say the least, with a lot of questions coming out of it, mainly questions being raised over whether or not the chance denied was really a clear goal scoring opportunity, as well as whether a 3 minute, multiple angle check is really amending something ‘clear and obvious’.
