The draw for the league stage of the UEFA Champions League will take place on Thursday, but today some interesting information about who the Reds could face and where, has been announced.
The club have confirmed that UEFA rules will prevent Liverpool from being able to play against Real Madrid at Anfield in the league stages of this year's tournament.
This is due to UEFA introducing a rule preventing teams playing each other at the same ground in the league phase of the competition more than two years in a row, to avoid the same fixtures from occurring repeatedly.
But Andoni Iraola's Reds could still play Real Madrid over at the Bernabeu during the league phase, so all eyes will be on Thursday's draw to see who LFC will face.
But What Do You Think Of This Rule? Let Us Know Down Below.
