André Onana Closing In on Manchester United Exit as Trabzonspor Reach Verbal Agreement

Jun 25, 2026 4:22 PM

André Onana’s Manchester United chapter appears to be nearing its conclusion, with Trabzonspor reaching a verbal agreement to bring the goalkeeper back to Turkey on a new loan deal. The proposed agreement would keep André Onana at Trabzonspor until June 2027, with the Cameroonian understood to have accepted the opportunity to remain in the Turkish Super Lig for another season. From United’s perspective, the move reflects the club’s current planning, with Onana reportedly not featuring in the first-team plans for next season. Trabzonspor are prepared to pay a loan fee and are keen to finalise the deal as they look to secure continuity in goal. If completed, the move would represent another important outgoing for United as the club continues reshaping the squad and creating room for further recruitment during the summer window.
