In recent hours, a video of Carlos Tevez's luxurious mansion went viral after the visit to Argentina of his former Manchester United teammates Patrice Evra and Park Ji-Sung. Tevez opened the doors of his home, and in the images, you can see the interior details of the property that combine spacious comfort areas and several of the best memories of his glorious career in world football.
On the tour of the residence, a pool with a sand effect and a waterfall in the backyard stand out, along with areas designed for outdoor activities. The interior also houses a professional gym, an indoor pool, and the entertainment room.
One of the most notable spaces functions as a personal museum, where Tevez has historic jerseys, medals, and memories of the 29 titles obtained during his professional career, a number that positions him among the Argentine footballers with the most titles in history.
On the tour, Tevez can be seen very happy with the visit to his home of two of his former teammates at the Red Devils. So much so that he treated them to an Argentine asado at his residence. The reunion with Evra and Park took place a couple of weeks ago, at the end of February.
The two former footballers traveled especially to Argentina to meet with Tevez, who, since July of last year, has coached Talleres de Cordoba after his stints at Independiente and previously at Rosario Central. The highlight of the visit was the French and Korean players' stop at La Bombonera, the stadium where Tevez forged part of his career before his jump to European football.
The magnitude of the reunion is better understood in light of their history: between 2007 and 2009, under the technical direction of Sir Alex Ferguson, Tevez, Evra, and Park were part of a United team that conquered seven titles, including the 2008 Champions League, the Club World Cup, two Premier Leagues, one Community Shield, and two League Cups.
Evra, international for the France team, and Park, South Korean glory, shared a strong friendship with Tevez during their years at Old Trafford. That relationship, which overcame the language and cultural barrier, was highlighted by manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who became a legend through a cinematic label: "the ugly, the good, and the bad."
Evra himself recalled this in a conversation with Rio Ferdinand, another club legend: "Ferguson couldn't understand it, Ji was the shyest, but he was a good liar. I translated Tevez's Spanish to Park whenever I could, but the truth is we had a lot of fun, to this day we remain connected, and we still talk to each other."
During his stay in Buenos Aires, Evra shared a video from the van that was transporting them, showing the pass through the La Boca neighborhood and the stadium. The message he left on social media synthesized the friendly and nostalgic tone of the visit: "We are waiting at your house. Apache, La Bombonera, brother."
