One Step Closer To The New Stadium...

United announced earlier today that they have been successful in purchasing the land that was necessary for the new stadium to be built.

The club have said: "The new stadium, which will become the biggest sporting arena in the UK, will serve as a catalyst for the regeneration of the surrounding district, helping to create one of the most dynamic and globally significant sporting and entertainment destinations in the world."

This news is incredibly exciting, no doubt, but it does make me wonder if the new stadium needs to be the main priority, or do United need to stabilise themselves on the pitch before pumping so much money into this new ground?
