Does Michael Carrick Need To Take Any Blame This Season?

Bold question, I know, but it's an important one.

Everyone is right to blame the Glazers and the wider ownership, and Lisandro Martínez has made his feelings towards Jason Wilcox very clear, but should Michael Carrick be taking any of the blame?

For me, Manchester United just haven't been good enough this season. Obviously, some of that is down to the players brought in, but the quality in the squad should be good enough to be winning more games than they are.
