Ahead of facing Como tomorrow evening, Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt are the only senior central defenders in training.

Leny Yoro is suspended and working on his own, while Ayden Heaven and Lisandro Martínez are both absent from the team session.

Andrey Santos has played just 83 minutes in the Premier League this season – 67 of those against Hull City on the opening day.

He didn't start against Sabah FK in the Champions League, and was replaced after 66 minutes against Brighton, just one minute after Brighton's second goal.

Not an easy one this.

Matheus Cunha seems to have been Michael Carrick's first-choice this season, but Šeško has been out and Mbeumo has been forced to play on the right.

Carlos Baleba has continued to train during the international break, with the full details found below, but should he start against Tottenham Hotspur?

Personally, I'd have gone with Marcus Rashford, but Manchester United have confirmed he has not been the quickest this season. In fact, he's only fourth on the list.

Football Insider have reported that Manchester United are planning contract talks with Luke Shaw, but does he deserve a new deal?

Maguire wasn't handed a new contract until after the January transfer window last season, despite having less than six months left on his terms. United waited for Maguire to prove himself, and he did.

It hasn't been the best international break from a Manchester United perspective, with so many injuries, but it would be wrong to forget about Shea Lacey winning the club's Goal of the Month award for September.

And what a finish it was 🤯

Manchester United have announced that Shea Lacey has won the club's Goal of the Month award fort his first goal for the senior side against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup.

It has been some week for the Manchester United academy: Noah Ajayi has signed his first professional contract at the club, Karim Cassim and David Eze have moved from Manchester City, and Isaac Konde has signed from Liverpool.

What do we think of the new additions, Reds?

Personally, I think I'd go Mbeumo through the middle against Fulham, with Lacey starting on the right and Rashford on the left.

Sesko wasn't good enough against Brighton, but I can definitely see the argument for him starting.
