James Forrest's current contract runs out in the summer. Martin O'Neill has stated he would like to see him be handed an extension.

Forrest played an important role in Celtic's win over St Mirren at the weekend, providing the assist for Kelechi Iheanacho's header that opened the floodgates in extra-time.

Personally, I would like to see him being handed an extension and eventually finish his career at Celtic as a one-club man.
