The Chicago Sky traded Angel Reese to the Atlanta Dream on Monday in exchange for Atlanta's first-round picks in 2027 and 2028, plus 2028 second-round swap rights.

She'll play with Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, and play under head coach Karl Smesko, whose system helped transform Atlanta from the league's worst offensive unit in 2024 to its second-best in 2025.

Reese didn't request the trade, per reports, but the split from Chicago wasn't exactly a surprise after a rocky end to last season. She posted "An Angel's DREAM 🌙 ATL WHAT UP?!" on X shortly after the deal was announced.

For the Sky, they walk away with a serious future picks haul and now hold five first-round selections over the next three drafts as they rebuild.

What do you think about this move for both sides? What do you think about the fit for Reese in Atlanta? Do you think other teams should have pursued her?
