Here is how each Liverpool player performed out of 10 against Brighton. Find out who stood out at Anfield and who struggled to cope with the Seagulls' storm.

Liverpool made it four wins in a row, as they dispatched Brighton by two goals to nil, thanks to a goal from Alexander Isak, as well as an unfortunate own goal from Pascal Groß.

It was Andoni Iraola's first win at Anfield in the league, and he hopes it is the first of many.

Here are our player ratings (out of 10) following this big victory at Anfield.

Alisson Becker - 7/10

A clean sheet with not a lot to do, which is a perfect day for the Brazilian shot stopper.

Milos Kerkez - 7.5/10

Dealt with the threat posed on the left-hand side, and linked up well with the winger in front of him, whether that was Gakpo or Barcola.

Virgil van Dijk - 7.5/10

A much more composed and reliable performance today from the skipper, who dealt with everything in the air and covered well when Kerkez was left under pressure.

Jeremy Jacquet - 7.5/10

Another strong showing from Jacquet today, a heroic piece of defending in the first half, helping keep a valuable clean sheet.

Ronald Araujo - 8/10

His determination made the first goal for LFC, hustling the Brighton defence, winning the ball back and delivering a dangerous ball into the box.

He was also strong defensively, even clearing danger with his head while on the ground, another top draw display from the Uruguayan.

Alexis Mac Allister - 7.5/10

Positionally superb today, was in the right place at the right time to clear any danger lurking around the Reds penalty area.

Ryan Gravenberch - 6.5/10

A few neat turns in the middle of the pitch, but it was a quiet game overall from Ryan Gravenberch.

Bradley Barcola - 7.5/10

A peach of a ball into the box that allowed Isak to convert, and while most of Liverpool's attacks came from the other side, he was a threat whenever he got on the ball.

Florian Wirtz - 7/10

Took the shot, that was deflected into the back of the net by Pascal Groß, hopefully the knock he picked up isn't too serious.

Cody Gakpo - 7/10

A constant threat on the counter, but his decision making was poor throughout the game.

Alexander Isak - 7.5/10

Took his goal really well, a striker's finish from Liverpool's number nine, exactly what he is in the team for.

Substitutes:

Trey Nyoni - 6.5/10

Came off the bench and made a crucial tackle immediately.

Rio Ngumoha - 6.5/10

Had a couple of his signature runs down the right-hand side to relieve the pressure off the Reds' backline.

Lewis Koumas - 6/10

Pressed from the front superbly, but didn't have much service for the short time he was on the field.

Kostas Tsimikas - 5/10

Was on the pitch for less than 10 minutes.

Author's Verdict - Player of The Match - Ronald Araujo

Both offensively and defensively, he was immense.

He was a crucial part of the opener, with his endeavour and determination to win the ball back, leading to the Uruguayan managing to get a cross into the box, which Wirtz directed into the path of Pascal Groß, who hit it past Verbruggen for an own goal.

Then, in the second half, the Reds' defensive credentials were tested, but Ronald Araujo stood out massively.

After an up-and-down game against Villarreal, he bounced back against Brighton with several clean, but thunderous, challenges that not only got the crowd off their feet, but ensured that a high-scoring Brighton side couldn't find a way through.
