My Blueberry Pie

There is nothing like a fresh homemade blueberry pie. So I took 4 cups of my blueberries and made this pie.. It isn't fancy, but oh my it was good.. Fresh out of the oven.

Of course I couldn't wait until it cooled so that first piece was a little messy, but it taste just a delicious as it would have if it had come out in one solid piece. 🤣🤣

Now for the recipe I used.  

Filling

3/4 cup  white sugar (I would reduce it in half)

3 tblsp cornstarch

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

4 cups  fresh blueberries

Method

Set oven to 375 degrees F (190 Degrees C)

Mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt - sprinkle over blueberries

Pour berry mixture into pie crust and dot with butter.

Top with crust - crimp and flute the edges

Bake on the lowest rack in the oven until filing is bubbling and crust is golden.
