Swimming can be exhausting!

For five years between the ages of 10-15 my son swam competitvely. He rose high in the rankings and was the top male swimmer of his club. He qualified for provincial swim meets, the Ontario Summer Games, and was on his way to nationals when he decided he wanted to have more freedom to enjoy his teen years.
Of course his coach wasn't happy about his decision because he expected him to qualify for the Olympics, but we supported him. At that time he practiced every day of the week and some days twice which left very little time for friends.
We had always enjoyed his time swimming and it allowed us to get away every couple of weeks.
Anyway, here are a few snapshots!

We were both quite involved in his swimming career. I was a board member and we were always timers, or admin at swim meets..
