Yuzvendra Chahal claims 5 wickets for just 14 runs in his debut for Northants, leading to a crushing victory over the former county.

Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who represented Kent in the Championship last year, played a pivotal role in securing a nine-wicket triumph.

Northamptonshire, chasing a target of 83 runs, completed their innings at 86 for 1, comfortably defeating Kent, who were all out for 82 runs (Chahal took 5 wickets for 14 runs, while Broad claimed 3 wickets for 16 runs).

His signing was confirmed just an hour before the match began, and Chahal's exceptional performance included taking 5 wickets for 14 runs in a remarkable unbroken 10-over spell, contributing to the hosts being bowled out for a mere 82 runs in 35.1 overs.

It's really so grateful performance of Yuzvendra Chahal. It's not easy to take 5 wickets in a match. Hopefully you enjoy this match.
