Usama Mir ‘surprised’ by his exclusion, spin utilization in T20 World Cup

Usama Mir, the leg-spinner from Pakistan, has finally addressed his omission from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and has raised concerns regarding the use of spinners during the tournament.

Despite being the leading wicket-taker in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024, Usama was not included in the T20 World Cup squad, while mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed and leg-spinner Shadab Khan were selected.

Opinion:-

Abrar did not participate in any matches throughout the 20-team tournament, and although Shadab played in all the games, he only bowled four overs, giving away 38 runs without securing a single wicket.

Usama Mir, the leg-spinner from Pakistan, felt disheartened upon learning that he had not been selected for the squad for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

What is your opinion about this news. I think Usama Mir is very happy. What you think. Leave a comment.
