A PCB official confirmed that the Bangladesh Cricket Board reserves the right to request a security representative for the upcoming tour of Pakistan. The request comes as part of the BCB’s due diligence efforts to ensure the safety and security of its players and staff and reflects the procedures used by cricket venues around the world when traveling to international destinations where there were already safety concerns revealed.

PCB has expressed its understanding and willingness to cooperate fully with BCB’s request. The PCB staff emphasized that ensuring the safety of passenger groups is a top priority and that strict safety measures have already been taken for global furniture. The involvement of a security representative from the BCB is seen as a nice step closer to mutual acceptance of the truth along with ensuring a breakdown free and safe visit.

In my view this move with the help of the BCB is both prudent and responsible. It emphasizes the importance of player safety and outlines a cohesive approach to the cricket arena which is vital to build trust and ensure the international tour runs clean. I think this is right by bcb because everyone want to get protection. If champion trophy held in Pakistan this is first duty of PCB to protect them.
