Naqvi recently approaches Waseem Akram with the offer of CEO or advisor position but he decline so thats why waqar younus will be considered for PCB CEO or advisor position. The question is why Wasim Akram refused this job?

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who also serves as the Federal Interior Minister, has been criticized by the people and mainly because of his dual role. Akram's refusal came when Naqvi was facing cricket difficulties. The reason for refusal is that they are permanent residents of Karachi and Waseem Akram keeps going to Australia due to family problems, so they said that he cannot do the job properly. He said that I am always present to support the Pakistan Cricket Board without any compensation. Consequently PCB contact with Waqar younus who really intention to this job and agreed to take responsibility. But so far PCB has not announced the name of Younis as a CEO or advisor.

Both are Pakistani legends and have been giving great performances in matches and also playing the role of captain. I don't think Akram's refusal will be a big issue because Waqar Younis is also a good player will share his experiences with the youngsters. Pakistan need more new experiences and skills to improve their skills but that is only possible if Pakistan players play as one and focus on the game only change of players and big men will not make any difference.
