Root has been phenomenal, and I’m obviously a big fan of his,34-year-old Williamson told reporters at the Greater Noida ground on Saturday, the venue for the Afghanistan clash.“I’ve enjoyed watching not just him, but obviously those other guys,” he said, referring to Kohli and Smith. He called all three “amazing players” that have “moved the game forward in a big way”.Root has been among the runs lately, in contrast to the dipping form of Kohli and Smith.
In my opinion , I think it's fascinating to see the admiration Kane Williamson has for Joe Root and the respect he holds for the top-ranked Test batsman. It's evident that Root's consistency and performance have earned him praise from fellow cricketers like Williamson. While Kohli and Smith have had their ups and downs recently, Root's ability to maintain his form is commendable and sets him apart as a standout player in the international cricket arena. It's always inspiring to witness such mutual respect and acknowledgment among elite cricketers, showcasing the camaraderie and sportsmanship that make the game even more captivating.
