The one-off Test between Afghanistan and New Zealand was delayed again on Tuesday, with the toss still yet to take place, after overnight rain.
The toss was scheduled for 9:00 am (03:30 GMT) on Tuesday, day two of the five-day contest. However, despite a sunny morning, the outfield remains damp following 10 days of rain.
I think the persistent rain causing delays in the Afghanistan vs. New Zealand Test match is quite unfortunate for both teams and cricket fans. The efforts of the ground staff to address the wet patch issue and the use of artificial grass show dedication to getting the game underway. However, the unpredictable weather affecting the outfield highlights the challenges faced by new venues in hosting international matches. I believe the teams and organizers are doing their best to ensure a fair and competitive match once conditions allow play to begin.
What's your thoughts🤔💭?
