Attracting new users to BBS from other social media platforms

Music is something that surrounds us. Everyone comes into contact with music.

Some enjoy listening to music, some enjoy making music either playing musical instruments or composing music.

For many people, music related activities is their source of income. The music industry is huge and some of the biggest income earners of the world are in this industry.

Even those not involved in the music industry and are not interested in listening or making music will stll be exposed to music through advertisements, movies etc
At the moment BBS does not have any big community that is focused on music. This is so different when you look at other social media.

Let us look at You Tube

A 13 year old violinists , Karolina Protsenko, who busks and post videos of her busking has several channels. Her biggest channel has more than 7 million subscribers. She is reported to earn more than $1 million a year.

A pair of cellist who goes by the name of 2 Cellos has more than 6 million subscribers

2 Set Violin celebrated hitting 2 million subscribers and 3 million subscribers mark by making live stream concerts for their subscribers to enjoy. When they hit the 4 million subscribers mark in the near future, they will live stream a concert performing Mendelssohn.

There are a lot of musicians or singers with loyal fans.

If BBS is able to attract some of their fans or subscribers to BBS, we can gain a lot of new users.

In order to try to do that 🦋 created a new BBS board , "My Favourite Musicians" that uses "Violins" as the name of it Reputation.

Violins has a channel for each musician. Each channel can be considered as a fan club for that musician. Works of the musician as well as post containing data related to the musicians will be posted.

Then 🦋 will post about a BBS channel in their other social media platform and invite participation in BBS.

Let me give an example involving 2 Set Violin.

They made a post about attending an audition for entrance into  a highly selective Music Institute, the Curtis Institute Of Music
🦋  posted the video by 2 Set into my channel for them 

🦋 wrote that the video by 2 Set is not a real audition.

🦋 postulate that the video is a fantastic advertisement by Curtis that they did not  have to pay any money for.

2 Set did the advertisement for Curtis in return for Masterclasses on how to play specific music pieces including Mendelssohn.

The masterclass on how to play Mendelssohn will make the coming live stream not just very good but of superb quality.

Meanwhile Curtis will benefit from the targeted advertisements to close to 4 million music lovers, students and musicians.

Next 🦋 will comment in 2 Set Violin You Tube channel about 🦋's post in BBS.

🦋 will ask there whether the audition is real or is it really an advertisement by Curtis's.

Hopefully 🦋 will be able to draw new members to BBS
