Engagement Mining - Transition 3 (Pilot Phase)

It’s time for another transition for the Engagement Mining program!
The current criteria for Engagement Mining approval can be found here:
Requirements
To be considered for Engagement Mining approval, boards must meet the following qualifications and apply via the linked post above.
- BBS must focus around a popular topic. - A good measurement for a topic’s popularity would be the engagement it generates in similar platforms
- On-topic Posts (at least 10 posts by unique users) - Meta-posts (posts about the board or community rather than its topic) are not counted
- BBS consistently generates high-quality on-topic discussion - A good comparison would be top subreddits on similar topics - Top posts on the board should generate high-quality discussion
- BBS only partners high-quality top contributing members - Top contributors measured according to their reputation, quality of their posts/comments, and the meaningful engagement/discussion they spark or contribute.
- BBS monitors and mitigates any fraudulent activity, and maintains a healthy activity distribution
- BBS must reflect well on the BBS Network
- Approved boards must not maintain Partnership as a primary focus for members.

Please note that changes to Engagement Mining approvals will take effect with the next automated distribution.
Newly Approved Boards
In this transition, two boards are being approved for Engagement Mining after meeting all criteria.
SATIVA

Removed Boards
Due to the decrease in network activity, we will be postponing board removals until the following transition.
Pending Boards
BBSMATE
BBSMATE has met some requirements, the board still struggles to maintain significant meaningful discussion. While the board does at times have meaningful comments, there is little discussion around them.
When the board is consistently generating meaningful discussion, the board can be reconsidered for approval.
Newly Added Criteria for Approved Boards
With this transition, we are adding one criteria for Engagement Mining approved boards:
- Approved boards must not maintain Partnership as a primary focus for members.
This means that while approved boards can maintain things such as partnership requirements, it should not be an active constant focus of the board’s discussions, announcements, or goals.
Engagement should be authentic for the sole purpose of discussing and interacting around the subject matter. As such, boards should not encourage engagement with prospects of partnership.
