I am not an addept of keeping a diet and if I strated, I never hold it.

I want to  feel free and nots stressted about what I eat.

I discovered intermitent fasting a few year ago and is the perfect diet I can hold , becoming as my life style too.

While, many diets are focusing on what to eat, INTERMITENT FASTING is a kind of diet about when to eat.

This gives you the flexibility to eat what you want (not too much junk food) withouth too many restrictions.

There are different time schedules where you can do it, for example if you are a beginer, you can start with 12h fasting and 12h window for eating.

I hold the one 16:8, this means I am holding 16h myself to eat  and 8h free to eat what I want.

Of course, I try to keep  a healty balance because is not good for the body.

My first meal strats at 10:00- 11:00 AM and ending at 6:00-7:00 PM.

Is the perfect timing for me.

Other people prefer to hold 24h fasting and eat once a day, or even holding 48h fasting.

And you know what’s amaizing? You are allowed to hace ‘cheating’ days. For example, in weekends, you can break the fasting earlier or eat later then normal.

Ahh, and one more thing, if you ate last at 9:00 PM, you have to count 12h or 16h of break to the next meal. You don’t have to keep the same daily routine, just keep the fasting window.

THE BENEFITS OF INTERMITENT FASTING:

  • Thinking and memory. Studies discovered that intermittent fasting boosts working memory in animals and verbal memory in adult humans.
  • Heart health. Intermittent fasting improved blood pressure and resting heart rates as well as other heart-related measurements.
  • Physical performance. Young men who fasted for 16 hours showed fat loss while maintaining muscle mass
  • Type 2 diabetes and obesity. 
  • Tissue health.
  • In some recent studies, it is recomanded , in certain cases for the patients with cancer. Positive results have been registered.

What the INTERMITENT FASTING does in practice?

It is burning the unnecessary fat by distributung equally in the body. After hours without food, the body exhausts its sugar stores and starts burning fat.

Be aware the this diet is not recommended for:

-            Pregnant women

-            Children under 18y

-            Type 1 diabets

-            Persons with a history of eating disorders

What was my today breaking fast ?

-            1 avocado

-            1 omlet of 3 eggs

-            60g cow chees

-            1 toamto

-            1 dry bread

I have started with a black coffee, under 50 g in the morning.

In my opinion, this is a healthy life style and can prevent you to eat non-stop.

In my fasting windows, I don’t feel the need to eat because my body got used with it.

For the beginers, I also recommend to start with a few days per week.
